Yesterday, I launched Disable WP Emojis.
Disable WP Emojis is a free and open-source WordPress plugin that is hosted on WordPress.org.
What the Disable WP Emojis plugin allows you to do is remove emojis from your WordPress site’s front-end, including the feeds, as well as the administration panel pages and e-mails.
To manually install Disable WP Emojis, go to the plugin’s WordPress.org page. Download and extract the contents. Then upload the `disable-wp-emojis` folder to the plugins directory. Log in to your WordPress site, go to the plugins page and activate the plugin.
Something quicker? Log in to your WordPress site, go to the plugins page, then add new and search for “Disable WP Emojis.” Install and then activate the plugin.
